Apple Spring Conference came to a close at the Cupertino Steve Jobs Theatre in this year. There is an illusion between them, Apple seems to have first introduced iOS 13 to our eyes.
Apple News+: $9.99/month, read 300+ magazines
As a technology company that specializes in releasing humanistic care, Apple first brought Apple News+.
CEO Tim Cook said that Apple News has become a popular news app for users. In the future, Apple hopes to provide more services to users through the newly upgraded Apple News+. Through this service, Apple will provide 300+ magazines for iOS users, including well-known magazines such as Time Magazine, covering fashion, entertainment, and politics. Apple News+ has a more sophisticated typographic design, and Apple officially said that its experience on the iPad’s big screen will be even better. Most importantly, Apple’s slap in the face guarantees that the user’s readings will never be tracked. As a company that supports content payment, Apple’s new service will naturally not be a white lunch. Apple News+ subscription fee is 9.99 US dollars / month, free for the first month.
Apple Card: Derived by Apple Pay, Daily Cash is attractive
The new Apple Card service can be viewed as an upgrade to Apple Pay, which allows users to apply online via the iPhone, which is quick and easy. In addition to consumption, Apple Card also provides a billing function that helps users clearly understand their daily spending habits.
In order to encourage users to use the Apple Card for credit card spending, Apple also introduced Daily Cash cashback benefits, which can be cashed back 2% for each spending, while 3% rebate is paid through Apple Card at Apple retail stores and Apple’s official website. In addition, Apple Card not only supports mobile phone card swiping, in order to take care of the usage habits of users in different countries or regions, Apple also launched a physical card, the card surface design maintains Apple’s consistently simple design style, the card is not printed with the card number, signature, security code And so on, so privacy and security are more secure. Apple official said that the Apple Card service will be officially launched this summer, and the specific time has not yet been announced.
Apple TV channels: an app to view multiple platform content
At the press conference this morning, Apple also launched the Apple TV channels service and released a new Apple TV APP. In short, this new service allows users to view the content of major video platforms in one app without jumping. According to the official introduction, Apple TV channels have no ads, and support offline viewing, and also support sharing between family members. Apple TV channels will be updated in May this year, and will be followed by Mac and iPad, as well as smart TVs such as Samsung, LG, and Sony.
Apple TV+: Pay tribute to the original video
At the end of the conference, Apple introduced the new Apple TV+ service, which will go online this fall, support 100+ countries, no ads, users can watch Apple’s original video content. It is not difficult to find that Apple TV+ is Apple’s own video content service, which includes morning shows, variety shows, movies, etc. compared to traditional resource aggregation. It is worth noting that at the press conference, Apple specially invited well-known director Spielberg and “Sea King” actor Jason Moma as Apple TV+ stations.
Although the hardware is not on the press conference, Apple has “squeezed the toothpaste”
As we said earlier, although Apple did not introduce a new hardware product at the press conference this morning, Apple has recently updated several hardware products.
On March 18th, Apple quietly released two new iPads – the iPad Air for $499 and the iPad Mini for $399. The highlight that is worth looking forward to is that these two new products are equipped with Apple Pencil and A12 processor.
The new iPad Air, starting at $499, is a new tablet between last year’s “cheap” 9.7-inch iPad (starting at $329) and the 10.5-inch iPad Pro (starting at $799).
All aspects of performance are also somewhere in between. The new $399 ipad mini is an upgrade to the iPad mini 4.
In addition, the new iPad Air is equipped with a 10.5-inch retina display (2224×1668 pixel resolution 500 nits), and the new iPad mini has a 7.9-inch display (2048×1536 pixel resolution) + wide border.
The similarities are: the two new iPads are equipped with the iPhoneXS with the same A12 bionic processor + M12 coprocessor, 64GB / 256GB storage space;
The rear 8 million + 7 megapixel FaceTime camera retains the 3.5 mm headphone jack and supports the original old Apple Pencil (instead of the new Pencil released last October) in gray, silver and gold.
The difference between the two is that the new iPad Air is equipped with a smart keyboard keyboard, which doubles the “productivity” and has a rated battery life of 10 hours. It supports fingerprint recognition and enhances the overall experience.
At the same time, Apple also updated the 21.5-inch iMac with 4K retina screen and the 27-inch iMac with 5K retina screen, as well as the powerful iMac Pro. This is another update since the last 2017 WWDC Apple launched the new iMac.
The 21.5-inch iMac upgrades the eighth-generation quad-core processor (up to six cores) with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory and nearly 60% performance improvement;
The 27-inch iMac is equipped with up to ninth-generation six-core and eight-core processors, with up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and up to 2.4x performance improvement.
At the same time, the new iMac graphics card upgraded the new Radeon Pro 500X series graphics processor
Optional Radeon Pro Vega graphics processor with faster 2666MHz DDR4 memory, more suitable for graphics-intensive work such as 3D rendering, complex video effects.
It’s worth noting that the two versions of the new iMac look almost unchanged. In terms of the price everyone cares about, the new 4K screen 21.5-inch iMac starts at $10,199.
The new 5K screen 27-inch iMac starts at $14,199. Two new iMacs are now available for order through Apple’s official website.
Following the launch of the new iPad mini/iPad Air and the new iMac, Apple Inc. continues to update its much-anticipated Apple headset, the AirPods II, through its official website.
The updated AirPods II is equipped with the new Apple H1 headphone chip, built-in optical sensor and motion acceleration sensor that automatically detects if you have put them in your ear.
In addition, according to Apple’s official introduction, the new AirPods II supports longer talk time: with a wireless charging box, the listening time can be more than 24 hours, and the talk time can be up to 18 hours; Up to 5 hours of single charge/listening time and up to 3 hours of talk time; up to 3 hours of listening time or up to 2 hours of call in 15 minutes in the charging box time.
Whether it’s both ears or just one of them, the new AirPods II’s H1 chip automatically transmits audio and activates the microphone.
When you’re on the phone or talking to Siri, the extra speech recognition acceleration sensor works in tandem with the microphone with beamforming technology to filter out outside noise and clearly lock your voice.
The layout is unmanned, and Apple may be planning a bigger game.
As we all know, as early as 2014, Apple started a project called “Project Titan”, and even foreign media reported that as many as 1,000 Apple employees developed electric vehicles in secret locations near the headquarters of Cupertino.
However, due to various problems affecting the Apple Auto Project, in 2016, Apple briefly “shelved” this car-making plan. Recently, with the gradual sales of hardware products such as the iPhone, the outside world has speculated that Apple’s car project seems to start again. Although Apple temporarily missed the start of 5G, I believe that Apple will act on 5G. The difference is that compared to the previously rumored Apple Car, Apple has now moved to develop driverless software, not the actual car.
